Went Private

Went private on our family blog, left this one public just in case someone's water broke at 19 weeks and was searching for some hope like I did a year ago. If you didn't get an invite and you wanted one email me:)

Cracker lover

Duncan has a big appetite. He eats 4-5 plastic tupperwares of baby food every day and lots of baby crackers as well. Today I gave him a particularly messy one!

Friday

A busy week ending with a busy day. I got pictures at football practice and at the Ward Potato Derby. We didn't have a winning potato but we'll rest assured that making a speedy potato isn't a necessary life skill:)

Pioneer Songs

I hate to add pictures because that last one came out so great. But this is the actual performance. It was a cute one. Lincoln even did a dance number! Yeee Haw! While looking back through the pictures I realized Lincoln's vest is askew in the final picture, we'll just blame it on the moonshine:)

Pioneer

Pioneer children sang as they walked and walked and walked to school. Pictures of the second grade performance later!

Drumroll

If ever you needed evidence that winning the pinewood derby is a fluke. Lincoln lost two races and won 20! Third place overall, not bad! Really must be luck because I have little or no skills at making cars. Winning third was fun but the best part of the pinewood derby is the many hours his Leader Traci put into making it a great experience for the boys. Notice the cool lanyard idea she had (they called them "pit passes") and the candy necklace. I just love this boy!

Family Home Evening

What's a Family Home Evening without a good game of red light/green light? It works much better at the park. A little Krispy Kreme really helps enhance the joy of FHE. We had a great picinic/FHE/basketball game at the park. We learned a few things during basketball: Lincoln has a few skills, Jane needs a little work. Whenever Jane got the ball she would run to the other side of the court and scream "IT'S MINE NOW!"
